Yoh! WTF? How did the human race make it this far with people like this in the gene pool?
I remember when I lived in Calgary, I’d speak with many Americans who genuinely believed that we had moose and polar bear roaming the streets of Calgary. Some even believed me when I jokingly said that instead my home in the city and a cottage in the countryside, I had a home in the city and an igloo in the countryside!
I enjoy the diversion of witty cartoons (especially those in The New Yorker magazine), and I’ve posted previously about funny cartoons that comment on American perceptions and stereotypes about Canada (for example, here and here). Below are a few others that may provide for some amusement.
This one deals with the general lack of knowledge about Canada by many Americans:
Americans know they share many similarities with Canadians and might be happy to think that’s true in all respects but every now and then something will remind otherwise — such as the finishing of a sentence with an “eh?” or a different pronunciation of a common word (like “about” pronounced as “aboot”) — even if they can’t put their finger on it:

Yoh! WTF? I am all for living a healthier life and exercise but you have to ask the question on what motivates someone first to get so obese and then to lose that much weight. Is this really about being healthy? Or is it about trying to live up to an unrealistic societal standard?
Yoh! WTF? As a mixed martial arts fan I am sad to read this. These men put their lives, bodies and hearts on the line when they operate at the level of competition demanded in the UFC. Eventually that is going to take a toll on the psyche.
Yoh! WTF? I don’t believe that Facebook the social media forum for adding one’s boss, there are other social media applications like LinkedIn. It is always best to separate one’s private life from one’s work life. Facebook = family and friends. A place where you can be fairly relaxed with what you say. Like just leaving the chocolate out…! They have learned to read their dog’s body language and have started to realize that human beings also use body language . As a member of our family she contributes more than her weight!

Yoh! WTF? Is it just me or is this a conundrum within a paradigm? China is a Second World country but it seems like their police are facing First World problems.
Yoh! WTF? This is amazing. I’ve heard about Daddy Long Legs…but Mamma Those Legs is SO-MUCH-NICER to look at!
